We just returned from our vacation to Maui.Of the over 1,500 photos I took I will share just the ones that will tell the story of our trip. We left on the 15th of March and returned to Kansas on the 22nd. Here are photos of Day 1&2 of our trip. Thursday night we arrived in Maui and spent a few hours on the beach before heading to bed. Friday we drove to a coffee farm in Kaanapali and spent time on the beach outside of our resort. We stayed at the Royal Lahaina Resort located on Kaanapali Beach.
The coffee farm covered most of the acres on the mainland of Kaanapali. The farm has hundreds of lots for sale. You can tell by the view that they will be able to sell many of the lots for development. Only a few houses are currently being built. It appears they will continue to grow coffee until the lot is sold.
See the person in the water. That is Kevin snorkeling. He taught me how to snorkel to prepare for our snorkeling trip that was on Sunday. I will not have photos to share from our snorkeling venture quite yet.

Hawaii is the rainbow state. There were rainbows every day.
